Monkey heads have soft brown fur
Their little noses spark and whirr
When you feed them nuts for tea
They dance about excitedly.
Monkey heads are smart and fancy
They make me go all bouncy prancy
When you stick them on a fence
Buttocks wobble, flap, then tense.
Monkey heads are full of knowledge
Though they never went to college
When you ask them for a theorem
They won't shut up. You should hear 'em.
Monkey heads are best served hot
Verging on the brink of rot
When you serve them for high tea
Cucumbers add piquancy.
Monkey heads have perky ears
Waving them destroys your fears
If you put them in a soup
Lizards soon hatch from your poop.
Monkey heads sell raffle tickets
To grasshoppers and chirping crickets
When the winning ticket's drawn
A purple corduroy hat is worn.
Monkey heads are happy critters
Only crows give them the jitters
They attack them with their beaks
And pierce their little furry cheeks.
Monkey heads have crunchy skin
Eating them makes quite a din
If you cover them in sauce,
They're chewier, and taste of horse.
Monkey heads have brown eyeballs
Raucous are their shrieking calls
If you hit them with a hammer
They have a tendency to stammer.
Monkey heads live up a tree
And make me sandwiches for free
Unless I ask for sausage meat -
Then monkey heads will chew my feet.
Monkey heads who dine on fish
Will sometimes grant you what you wish
But if you wish for paper money
You turn into a purple bunny.
Monkey heads have grown small wings
They like to hover over things
So look up when you hear a flapping
Or you'll be victim of their crapping.
Monkey heads have cute brown ears
With which they'll listen to your fears
Monkey heads - so therapeutic -
Will poke your brains out with a Q-Tip.
Monkey heads are in my brain
You may be noticing the strain
Monkey evil - leave me be!
My grip is loose on sanity!
Monkey heads, why are you here?
Why create despair and fear?
Will you not vacate my head?
Monkey heads make me see red.
Monkey heads are reconciled
No longer are the heads reviled
With lithium in largish doses
We can live in symbiosis.
Monkey heads are cute and fluffy
But their cheeks are awful puffy
If I start my magic yelling
I can help reduce the swelling.
Monkey heads. They help me think
About the furriness of mink
They help me ponder local bus
And blot out all external fuss.
Monkey heads float in the air
They're smarter than the average bear.
When you meet them in the woods
They hide in their big parka hoods.
Monkey heads are happy chappies
When I dress them up in nappies.
Nappies staunch the neck stump blood
Makes those monkeys feel real good.
Monkey heads make super pets
They sleep all night in silken nets
Beneath them you must place a pot
To catch the blood and neck stump rot.
